Hernö Set To Open Gin Hotel And New Cocktail Bar In Sweden

Hernö is set to build a Gin hotel in Härnösand and a new cocktail bar in Stockholm as part of its plans to turn the High Coast of Sweden into an international Gin destination. The Swedish brand is yet to forecast an opening date for the hotel.

The Hernö Gin Hotel is set to be located near the coast and just 15 minutes from the Hernö Gin distillery, just outside Härnösand. It will feature 120 rooms, a restaurant, a cocktail bar and a conference department, which will be spread across nine floors. As an added bonus, the hotel will be connected to the city baths and will boast a sauna and spa available to guests.

“The hotel will also be important to attract companies, investors and people moving to the city since it will offer attractive accommodation and will also create jobs,” said Maria Åman, head of communications at Hernö Gin. “The High Coast of Sweden is a region where outdoor tourism is a strong sector that is on the rise and the tourism is increasing in the region. We strongly believe that this trend will continue after coronavirus and that people will continue to choose outdoor tourism and to visit smaller cities/places.”

Hernö Gin Hotel is expected to be a “first-class facility” that will attract business travelers and tourists from Sweden as well as around the globe.
