Gucci is entering the bottled cocktail game and they’ve enlisted master mixologist Giorgio Bargiani to help them do it. The Italian brand’s first signature libation is the Elisir d’Elicriso.

Bargiani has spent the past eight years working as assistant director of mixology at the world’s best bar, London’s Connaught Bar, and together with the clothing company unveiled the cocktail bar at Gucci Giardino 25 café and cocktail bar in Florence, Italy.

The Elisir d’Elicriso evokes the gardens of Tuscany, according to the brand. Described as a “collector’s cocktail with a rich, herbal, and rounded profile drawn from local botanicals, apothecary and natural herbs from the Mediterranean, vetiver, and the essential oil of ‘elicriso’ (helichrysum italicum),” it took seven months (and 15 tastings) to come to fruition.

“Gucci and I share the same Tuscan roots, and we have the same vision, in pursuing excellence, looking for elegance without being stuck in the past, and always craving for innovation,” Bargiani told WWD.

Pink in color, Gucci Elisir d’Elicriso arrives inside a carved glass bottle made to add a stylish touch to any home bar. The Italian brand recommends enjoying the bottled cocktail straight up, on the rocks, with a dash of sparkling wine, or with a splash of tonic.

Elisir d’Elicriso can be ordered via Gucci Osteria or the Giardino 25 for $140. Unfortunately, for the moment, it can only be shipped within Italy. Bottles will also be available in a limited run at Gucci Giardino 25 in Florence.
